Give Back, Get Involved.
Volunteer at AOFC.
At Adelaide Olympic FC, our volunteers are the heartbeat of the club. From match days to training sessions, community events, and behind-the-scenes support, volunteers are essential in creating a welcoming, safe, and thriving environment for players, families, and the broader football community. Without their dedication, passion, and time, the club simply wouldn’t be the vibrant and inclusive place it is today.
Volunteering at AOFC is for everyone — whether you’re a parent, a former player, a supporter, or someone looking to get involved in your community. There are many ways to contribute, from assisting coaches and managing game-day operations, to helping with events, fundraising, marketing, and administrative support. Every role, no matter how big or small, has a real impact on the smooth running of the club and the experiences of our players.
Being part of the AOFC volunteer team is not only about giving back; it’s an opportunity to be part of something bigger. Volunteers develop skills, form lasting friendships, and share in the excitement of football at every level — from MiniRoos and juniors, through to U18s, Reserves, and our Senior teams. It’s a chance to be right in the heart of the action, supporting players, coaches, and fellow volunteers while contributing to a club culture that values teamwork, respect, and community.
We welcome anyone with enthusiasm, commitment, and a desire to make a difference. Whether you can spare a few hours a week or help occasionally at events and match days, your time and energy are invaluable. Together, our volunteers help Adelaide Olympic FC flourish on and off the pitch, creating an environment where players can thrive, families feel connected, and the community comes together.
Join us. Make a difference. Be part of the AOFC family.
VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT
VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT
Meet Liliana.
Since joining Adelaide Olympic over four years ago, Liliana has been an incredible asset to the club. She has generously volunteered her time as a Team Manager for both her son’s and daughter’s teams, contributed to the Junior Committee, and always stepped in wherever help is needed. Always willing to roll up her sleeves — whether it’s coordinating on match day or even getting behind the deep fryer in the kitchen — Liliana embodies the true spirit of community and service that makes AOFC so special.
Her dedication is matched by her insight and energy, bringing organisation, positivity, and a helping hand to everything she does. Her husband, Emmanuel, also contributes to the club as a coach, making their family a cornerstone of the AOFC community.
When asked what she loves most about volunteering, Liliana says:
"I love seeing the kids grow, make friends, and develop a love for the game. Being part of a club where everyone works together to support the players and each other makes it so rewarding."
Meet Peter.
Peter has been a dedicated volunteer at Adelaide Olympic for several years. He is a familiar presence behind the bar, in the kitchen, and on the grills for our well-loved Friday night charcoal BBQs. In addition to his work around the club and on matchdays, Peter is actively involved with the Junior Committee and helps manage registrations and member payments for all MiniRoo and Junior players, supporting the smooth running of the club.
With a son playing at AOFC, Peter understands the importance of contributing to the club community. When asked what he enjoys about volunteering at AOFC, Peter says:
"I really enjoy helping out wherever I’m needed, making sure everything runs smoothly for the players and families, and connecting with other parents along the way. It’s nice to feel part of the AOFC community and be involved in what’s happening at the club."
Help Shape the Future of AOFC.
Volunteer with Us in 2026.
At the centre of every successful community club are its volunteers. They are the heartbeat of AOFC — the reason we’re able to run teams, host matches, open the canteen, and create experiences for hundreds of young players each week. But to move forward and grow stronger, we need more hands, more voices, and more hearts involved.
In 2026, we are reshaping how we run the club. Rather than relying on a small group to do everything, we’re looking to build a team of volunteers who each play a small but vital role. By spreading the load and encouraging involvement, we can rebuild the culture of connection, accountability, and pride that AOFC is known for.
We are now seeking Expressions of Interest from parents, family members, sponsors, and supporters who would like to help. Whether you have an hour a week or a few hours a month to give, there’s a role for you.
We are currently looking for volunteers for the following positions:
Team Managers Coordinator
Canteen / Kitchen Coordinator
Equipment / Uniform Officer
Referee / Match Official Coordinator
Health and Safety / First Aid Officer
Fixtures and Pitch Allocation Coordinator
Player Wellbeing Officer
MiniRoos Coordinators (2 points of contact)
Junior Coordinators (2 points of contact)
Girls Coordinator
FFSA / League Administration Officer
We are also seeking expressions of interest for a Board role – Sponsorship and Partnerships Director, responsible for driving new relationships with local businesses, securing sponsorships, and supporting the financial sustainability of the club.
Each of these positions will be supported with clear expectations, induction, and communication pathways to make volunteering structured, rewarding, and purposeful.
Together, we can make 2026 a season of renewal, unity, and pride — one that sets the foundation for our future success both on and off the pitch.
Let’s work together to make 2026 a season we can all be proud of.
