Join our Community

Adelaide Olympic is a local community football club that could not run without the incredible support from its members, volunteers, families and sponsors.

If you're looking to join the club as a player, please click here.

We are always looking for driven and passionate individuals to join our community and be part of building the club in this exciting new chapter. Our volunteers, whether they are on the committee, players or family, are the heart and soul of the club and allow it to operate at its highest standard.

Getting involved as a volunteer at AOFC

Whether you’re a football-loving member of the community or know a player at the club, there are number of ways to get involved at Adelaide Olympic.

We are a volunteer led club and our volunteers help out with all aspects of the club, from helping on game days, coaching and team management, right through to committee leaders and coordinators.

If you are interested in volunteering in any role or want to see what opportunities are available at AOFC, please get in touch with our Club Secretary.

Becoming a coach

At AOFC we aim to inspire and upskill the next generation of community coaches.

Coaching delivers many personal rewards including self-development, a practical way to contribute to the community and best of all, an opportunity to have a positive and enduring influence on the personal and sporting development of young people.

The club supports coaches through having a senior coach and technical director position within the committee and also through the funding of coaching courses where required.

Team Managers

Interested in working with the team but don’t have the coaching credentials?

The team manager plays a pivotal role for the Club, ensuring the coaches and players are prepared to the best they can each week and following eligibility criteria rules for players.

Ideally, team managers are available for training sessions on Tuesday and Friday evenings and must be available for game days (typically Sundays throughout winter).

Game Day Volunteers

For all home games, we rely on our volunteer community to assist with a number of responsibilities at the club.

These can include:

Game Day setup

Opening the changerooms

 Working behind the bar

Assisting with coffee making

Food service or BBQ

First aid

Managing clubrooms

Re-stocking the bar and fridges

Taking payments

Assisting with crowd control

Partner with us

We understand that for many families, the idea of going back to the community is something we aspire to, but with the pressures of every day life it does become difficult.

There are many ways you can give back and support our community through the club. We have multiple partnership opportunities available for businesses to show their support.

If you would like to support the club in another way, you can also
make a one-off tax-deductible donation to the club.
