A New Chapter Begins: Archie Christakos Returns as AOFC President ahead of 2026 Season

We are excited to share an important update with our AOFC community: Archie Christakos is stepping back into the role of President of Adelaide Olympic Football Club, effective immediately.

Archie is a familiar face to many of our members. Having previously served as President, his passion for AOFC and unwavering commitment to our players, families, and broader community make him the perfect leader to guide our club into a new chapter. With renewed energy and determination, Archie returns to lead Adelaide Olympic toward growth, unity, and success.

This year has brought challenges both on and off the pitch, but our focus is clear: to review, refresh, and transform all areas of AOFC. Our goal is to build a stronger, more united, and successful club for everyone involved.

As part of this transition, a new board will be appointed shortly, marking a significant turning point in AOFC’s journey. While we embrace change and evolution, we remain grounded in the fundamentals that make Adelaide Olympic so special: our people, our community, and our shared love for football.

We also want to take a moment to thank John Konstandopoulos, our 2025 President, for his tireless work and dedication. John led with passion during a challenging year, and we are deeply grateful for his efforts in guiding the club.

This is the beginning of an exciting new era for AOFC, one built on strong values, transparency, and the spirit of community. Together, we will continue to grow and create a club that all of us can be proud of.
