Adelaide Olympic Stands United for Sammy D Violence Prevention Round
This weekend, Adelaide Olympic proudly came together as one club to take part in our Sammy D Violence Prevention Round, standing united to raise awareness and promote an important message — violence has no place in our clubs, our homes, or our community.
Across our junior and senior teams, players, coaches, families and supporters joined together to recognise the importance of respect, leadership, inclusion and creating safe environments where everyone feels valued and supported.
Football is about more than what happens on the pitch. It is about the connections we build, the values we share and the positive impact we can have within our wider community. Through initiatives like the Sammy D Violence Prevention Round, we are able to use the power of sport to educate, inspire and encourage meaningful conversations around preventing violence.
It was fantastic to see players of all ages — from our youngest juniors taking their first steps in football through to our senior teams — proudly standing together behind this important cause and helping spread the message of respect and accountability.
Adelaide Olympic would like to thank everyone who supported the round and helped highlight the incredible work of the Sammy D Foundation. Their commitment to educating and empowering young people and communities plays a vital role in creating positive change.
Together, we can continue to build a club environment where everyone feels safe, respected and included.
One club. One community. United against violence.
