Building Connections Through Our Seniors to Juniors Program
One of the most rewarding aspects of our club is seeing players from different age groups come together, and throughout April, our Seniors to Juniors program continued to do exactly that.
Over the past month, a number of our senior players have spent time at Mini-Roo and Junior training sessions, sharing their knowledge, experiences, and passion for the game with the next generation of Adelaide Olympic footballers.
The program provides a fantastic opportunity for our younger players to learn from those competing at the highest level within our club. Whether it's helping with drills, offering encouragement, demonstrating techniques, or simply spending time with the kids, our senior players have embraced the opportunity to give back and be positive role models.
Just as importantly, the enthusiasm from our junior players has been incredible to see. Every session has been filled with smiles, energy, excitement, and plenty of memorable moments as the younger groups interacted with players they look up to.
Throughout April, we were fortunate to have Lewis Cleland, Ali Aqil, Alex Demasi, Peter Katsambis, Ethan Maiorana, Rastko Ljujic, Perry Mitris, Harry Selinis, Jarrod Brazzale, and Stefan Matteo all get involved across our Mini-Roo and Junior sessions. Their willingness to dedicate their time and connect with our young players made a genuine impact and helped strengthen the sense of community that makes our club so special.
The Seniors to Juniors program is about more than football. It's about creating pathways, building relationships, fostering club pride, and ensuring our younger players feel connected to the wider Adelaide Olympic family.
A huge thank you to all of our senior players who participated throughout April. Your involvement continues to make a real difference and embodies everything our club stands for.
We look forward to seeing the program continue to grow throughout the season.
